The Michigan Craft Distillers Association (MCDA) approached us with an outdated website and underdeveloped brand identity that no longer reflected the growth and energy of Michigan’s craft spirits scene. As a nonprofit representing over 40 distilleries, MCDA needed more than just a design refresh—they required a unified digital and visual presence to better serve distillers, promote events, and engage consumers. Their existing site lacked intuitive navigation, cohesive storytelling, and the branding needed to convey their values of heritage, quality, and community.

We delivered a comprehensive rebrand and UX/UI redesign that brought MCDA’s mission and personality to life. A new modular logo featuring the Michigan state outline, paired with a warm, earthy color palette and vintage-inspired typography, established a strong visual identity. The redesigned website now offers streamlined navigation, clearer messaging, and a more engaging user experience. With consistent branding across web and print, MCDA is now positioned to grow its community, amplify its advocacy efforts, and showcase Michigan as a leader in craft distilling.

The MCDA:

The new branding and website have truly elevated MCDA’s presence in the craft spirits industry. It perfectly captures our mission while making it easier for members and consumers to connect with Michigan’s distilling community.
